Please be assured that, in the event of the UK leaving the EU without a formalised withdrawal agreement, here at PFM UK we have a plan in place.
We have constructed a brand new spare parts hub, significantly increasing our ability to hold more spare parts for all the PFM range of equipment and increased our stock holding in case of friction in obtaining components from the continent.
As a subsidiary we have immediate access to all the technical drawings of specific components and have established relationships with UK based component manufactures where, in an absolute worst case scenario we could manufacture certain components in the UK if necessary.
We have also increased our stock holding of complete machines so that if there is no deal we can still supply you with PFM equipment until an arrangement with the EU is formalised.
We now have stock in in Leeds of:
- Flow wrappers: Pearl, Shamal , Scirocco
- Vertical form fill seal: Zenith, R series, Azimuth Servo
- Multihead Weighers
We understand that some of you may be making your own contingency plans and in light of this it may be prudent to start contacting us about increasing your own stock holding so that you are as prepared as you can be for what lies ahead.
